Once upon a time, I was a shy kid who loved to draw. I left images of whales, dinosaurs, and cartoon characters on every surface I could reach, and my very avant-garde parents were, thankfully, delighted to see our walls become my first gallery.
That kid inevitably grew up, had to find her footing in the world, and found out that her love for drawing could translate into graphic design.
From there, I spent over two decades running a design studio in Rio de Janeiro, working as a creative designer for multiple clients and establishing myself as a trusted specialist for Reader's Digest Brasil. My career was built around the belief that creativity and production are one single craft.
Then I decided to flip everything around and go on an adventure. I packed up, moved to Toronto, and enrolled at George Brown College for a refreshing career gap that gave me the chance to reinvent myself from the ground up. I graduated with Honours, an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design, and a renewed conviction that I am doing what I was born to do. I also came away with a thorough understanding of the Canadian design industry and exactly where my skills fit within it.
After that, I offered my obsession with precision and accuracy to The Brand Factory in Toronto, where I worked as a Senior Production Artist contributing to branding, environmental, and multi-channel campaigns for 20+ of Canada's Tier-1 real estate developers.
I believe that creativity only truly shines when it is supported by the technical. I love creating designs that reflect my clients' personalities, but the fixer in me will also fight for brand consistency, efficient typography, and all the things that make a file as strong on press as it looks on screen.
My technical toolkit spans the full Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity and Canva, and AI workflows, covering everything from layout and typography to prepress, print production, digital asset management, and multi-channel campaign delivery.
I am open to opportunities in Production Artist, Artworker, and Intermediate-to-Senior Creative Designer roles. Whether in-house or in a studio environment, I find my footing quickly and give my best to whatever team I am part of. People say I am a bit weird, but fun to work with. They also say I am a perfectionist and highly professional. I try to believe both things are true.
